It’s a fun idea, but the plague interpretation for the Ring Around the Rosie nursery rhyme is unfortunately just an invented meaning. The rhyme was written five centuries after plague outbreaks occurred (so very unlikely to be about the plague) and it originally had very different lyrics when first recorded (“Ring, a…

Math has been declared racist by the left. This is not a joke.
There’s a lot of authority and sass in the writing tone here for a muddled account of this sad situation at hand. Legionnaires usually occurs when the nonpotable cooling water or pooled water gets messed up due to bacteria growth. Flint’s water supply might have had some biocide potential for the facility’s use.…
14 of the top 30 progressive (D) Senators voted to end the federal shutdown back in January to fund CHIP for 6 years. Seems to me they vote on issues that people care about. Like funding kid’s insurance.
Of the three examples they provide, one is a candidate with no experience challenging an incumbent Senator of her own party, and another is a complete novice in a crowed field running for an open seat but not running in the special election to fill that seat.
Why are the only examples Dems favoring incumbents? You can’t honestly be surprised that a party is supporting incumbents. Any maybe the fact that the Congressional Black Caucus is supporting someone should tell you something about that person.
It’s not really clear from that (really poor) Axios article what’s going on. If the party is failing to target black women for recruitment in competitive open districts, that’s a problem. If they are failing to give resources to black women candidates in the general election, that’s a problem. If they are not…
This site can’t afford fact-checkers and it sure as Hell can’t afford to pay bloggers capable of doing basic math.
Why would the national party intervene against its own incumbents? How is that a strategy?
It always amazes me that there are so many people who so confidently state that human beings should stop consuming a food that they started eating before they started building cities.
I think the problem is that it’s pretty much the ones the story mentions. Moissonite, Rubies, Sapphires. Emeralds aren’t as rugged.
I think it’s more likely that it’s human group behavior. The first homo sapiens were out of Africa and thus had to be the species’ first colonizers. It’s inherent in society to colonize, much like making war, but it doesn’t have to be the most laudable thing about our species. But either way, this wouldn’t track…

I’m super happy for her. But, why oh why did it happen to be horrible ass Liberty University? I guess a stopped clock really is right twice a day.
Genuinely silly article that got pretty shredded by nutrition science-y parts of Twitter. Tipton’s statements were taken really far out of context predictably.

Better than someone who tries to start arguments on the web, insults people for no reason, and provides no data to back their arguments. You fit the definition.
I really liked some of the Odd Thomas books, but as I’ve branched out to read more of Koontz’s stuff, I’ve come to realize everything I liked about those books is a re-run of what he’s done in every other series/book he’s written.
