So my plan to have four dogs is probably ill-conceived in terms of romance? Oh well, full steam ahead!

I linked to this video already, but a Youtube critic pointed out that asking if it’s “good” representation is kind of beside the point... Real progress could be measured in having many different shades of “gay”, and that includes ambiguity, even flatness, where “a gay moment” ISN’T a big deal. What’s awful about

Kinda hard to connect with low information voters when the traditional channels you’d use to connect with them... media covering your speeches and policies... flat out refuse to cover them. Seriously, how do you suggest overcoming that hurdle? What could “messaging” really accomplish if there’s no medium FOR the

She fucking DID. Did you follow her Twitter? Go to her rallies? Read her website, watch her speeches, pay ANY fucking attention to her outside of debates?? She said lots and lots and LOTS of other stuff, that the media refused to cover (preferring to air an empty podium) and people refused to seek out. Yeah, messaging

“As for Michigan, why are you not omitting how the purge of voter records also contributed to lower voter turnout?”

Crafting: preventing murder and giving you pretty things.

“that would come as a very big surprise to many in the Democratic Party. Single Payer is a clear, concise message.”

I thought the animation was a bit off too and could not figure out exactly why. Any ideas?

Except when Democrats DO that, and then don’t deliver, their voters turned against them. Obama campaigned on a very clear, concise message on health care for all in 2008, and then when he hit reality (that health care is complicated/required tons of concessions and compromises even among Democrats), even when he got

Because the Republican base rewards them breaking the government; that’s exactly what the Republican base *wants*, to prove government is ineffective and awful and burn it all down.

Okay, actually, gonna recant my incredulous response, cause taking a much deeper look into their articles, the actual journalists seem (if sloppy) trying to dig into some interesting stuff. It’s really just Gleen who is fucked in the head (and apparently turning on his own reporters.) Seems that if they outed him,

You’re kidding, right? The publication that burned their source over Russia involvement in our security systems while Gleen Greenwald keeps going on and on about how the whole Russia thing is a “distraction” and cozening up to Julian Assange/WikiLeaks? The publication that spews fire at Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid?

This is what drives me crazy about the whole “I won’t take money from anything but small donors!” purity nonsense post-Citizens United. It is just *not feasible* for liberal/progressive voters to carry the financial burdens of the hundreds of campaigns (local, state, national) that are battling Republicans;

I dig her writing so despite my experiences I’ll have to check out the other genres! Thank you!

Darn I believe you are right, my bad.

Kresley Cole-Anybody read her Game Maker series? I tried out the 2nd one (The Master) and was... underwhelmed. I really loved the heroine, but I found the plot disturbing and creepy instead of sexy, and it just seemed to go on and on and ON. I only made it about 50% of the way through. What did other folks think?

You are my angel. I could not for the life of me remember the author for “The Wedding Date” after it got recommended on Pop Culture Happy Hour last year, and Googling it was pretty much useless!

Well and honestly, I’m okay with Democrats being primaried, because we apparently just MUST have “progressive” candidates IF progressives/liberals both agree to turn out and vote for whatever D candidate is on the ballot.

Oh FUCK no, that thing was freaking awful...
