I thought I agreed with her on enough issues that at worst she’d be tolerable and possibly even pretty good. I knew I didn’t love her positions on some issues, but then, it took Obama a while to come around on gay marriage, so there’s hope that a mostly good politician will come around.

That’s how terrible the election was: two awful pieces of human trash were about to be the leader of the free country and whoever won, we lose. I won’t be surprised that people voted Hillary because they did not want Trump and not because of her policies. Hillary’s statements in the past around BLM was proof enough…

I don’t think people think that way now. Moral outrage would have been more likely in 1980 if it were widespread knowledge - we were closer to the pain of the fight back then, believe it or not. I think you and I usually see eye-to-eye on most issues, but I don’t know that we’re going to agree on this one. Governors and first ladies can halt traditions and create new ones, or at least make an effort, if they object. Is there any evidence that she objected to this? I don’t perceive any objection from that…
