Wow. You are just... Wow.
Wow. You are just... Wow.
I was quite curious if these were students that were from the south. If not, the whole basis of this being a "southern thing" or a "Mississippi thing" is out the window.
I'm a full time Ole Miss fan/part time Giants fan and every Eli Manning gif/meme is wonderful and hilarious.
I had completely blocked Ed Orgeron from mind after he left Ole Miss. Then I was reminded of this:
I will have to remember that next time I'm down there (which hopefully is during carnival this year). I was sad to hear Brennan's is closed.
Can not forget the bread pudding. Ugh, now I want to go to New Orleans.
My in-laws used to live on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain, and we always went down to New Orleans during carnival season (which was always wonderful). I've been several other times for other reasons and always had a blast. Sorry you couldn't enjoy what New Orleans had to offer.
You've obviously never been to New Orleans.
I'm just pumped that Mississippi isn't last for once.
When my husband and I found out we were having a girl, the first thing my dad said to my husband was "Be glad you have a daughter cause they'll be the ones to take care of you when you're old". It's becoming even more true now that his mother (my dad is an only child) has Alzheimer's (among other issues). My mother…
My alma mater has an in-county rivalry (and is for some reason called "The Possum Bowl"), and we experienced a dead deer hanging from the flag pole and dead possums in our toilet (two separate occasions). Shit gets weird during football season in the south, y'all.
This is so perfect.
I heard this on the news and thought "Oh well that's awesome" (didn't watch the pageant. Thanks assholes for shitting on something that is in no way a negative thing.
As an oddly divided house of Ole Miss of Oklahoma fans, we immensely enjoyed this ass kicking on the LHN. If Texas couldn't handle Ole Miss or the Stormin' Mormons, then Red River Rivalry might not be very interesting this year.
I am in love.
I do pull for them because Eli went to Ole Miss and God knows we wouldn't have been shit without him. I don't dislike the guy, but it wasn't unknown that he was a bit of an asshole. Our family is actually supporters of the Manning family (obviously, since we're Ole Miss fans). I do find their commercials and SNL…
Quite possibly. I am referring back several years ago.
When I was at Ole Miss, I had a few friends that worked at the local bars around town. I had several of them say Eli is the biggest prick they had ever met. He deservedly belongs on the Giants team.
