So untrue. Tenant landlord laws are tough. Fair housing would have been all over that one. A landlord, managet, maintenance can only enter if it’s fire, flood or blood. Still first they must try emergency contacts and you. Fire I’m sorry, I’m not stopping to call or knock. Again, they can’t just move that woman’s

That’s very true but you have to crawl before you walk. Why should someone gamble on credit ratings or loans? Bottom line is it’s income to debt ratio. Not saying I believe that in all cases but that’s how it goes.

Just return it in the original color it was when you moved in. I don’t think it’s so much their against it rather than finding painted carpet, loud colors that need primer first. Then it eats at your security deposit or ends up a bill.

You really need to check with your manager. Tenants just don’t seem to grasp the idea of liability. I’ll gladly install, paint accent walls, anything that’s within reasonable accommodation. Now liability is shifted to me.

Some tenants like a personal touch. Life isn’t all about returns. It’s also called self gratification.

Not asking permission leaves you wide open for liability. Did you read your lease? Trust me,if their any kind of management company it will say no unauthorized changes.
