I actually don't think the character of Cami is even necessary anymore. The characters all have their vulnerable sides that show their humanity; having an actual human (especially one as dull as Cami) doesn't add to the storyline in any way. I am still waiting for an episode where Klaus doesn't come out as the idiot…
