I don’t know, that doesn’t exactly hold true for the recent Tom Cruise movies I’ve seen, namely Jack Reacher and Edge of Tomorrow, where Emily Blunt was the badass one of the duo.

Rachel Weisz and Brendan Fraser worked so well together because there was a give and take. Tom Cruise has to be Tom Cruise all the time which means this actress is probably just going to be a damsel in distress with no personality. I find this reboot unnecessary and deem it a fail from the get-go.
