This is the sex

$8k is still cheap for close to 300hp, a stylish coupe design, and a reliable car with a decent chassi. Won’t require any more maintenance than any other reliable 100k car either. Only thing better is getting a G35 coupe for the cheaper insurance and far nicer interior.

Thanks for the excuse to post this photo of my Dad’s S8.

350Z. Your basic biggish engine, smallish chassis RWD sporty car that’s always been cheap as hell. And reliable.

But if the fact that this car shares switches with a lower model is reason enough to deter you from it, are you really buying it for the “right reasons”?

From what I’ve seen in VAG cars, the little bits like switches tend to trickle down, not up. So the Golf really has R8 switches.

You have it backwards. The Golf has switches from the R8.

Now playing

Why is the R8 V10 such a desired thing? Because some people just wanna go really, really fast. Companies like UGR help them achieve that goal...

i’ve spent a good amount of time in a 2012 V10 R8 and I can honestly say there aren’t too many places on earth better than that. The gated manual alone is a bucket list type driving expereince. The styling, the V10, the feeling that you could one day be Iron Man, all of that combines for an absolutely wonderful

I don’t think you’re even considering these if you’re being budget conscience.

Yawn. I’m pretty sure nobody in a Golf TSI will roll up to you at a stoplight and yell “My car’s just as good - I have the same window switches!” This is such a tired point.

But Golf switches are nice switches. Worlds better than what you would find in a 1998 Chevy Cavalier.

No the V10 is just a really, REALLY awesome reason to choose the R8. Even if the competition is a little bit quicker, the R8 is work of art inside and out. It's a very special car to own and everyone will recognize it. The whole experience is the reason you choose the R8, the beauty, the engine, the drivetrain, and

Every review I read or watched on the V8 version said the same thing: The chassis can handle way more power and it feels like it should have more. When the V10 came out everyone reviewing the car seemed a lot happier.

I liked the Veyron a lot because it shared the utterly straight faced look of early Bugattis. The same look on the E type Jaguar. It was completely emotionless in its stare. I at least got the impression that there was so much more emotion below the skin, like it wasn’t putting it all on show because it didn’t need

Stupid expensive and kinda pointless really

Well I would definitely support this decision 120%

“clean”??? The vernix on a baby is not only clean it actually protects the baby from infections. Washing it off is ridiculously stupid. After pushing a whole human out of your body you seriously are not thinking about holding the photo ops until the vernix is gone. You are just glad it’s out of your body.

I’ve driven the F12 and it was the most amazing and special car I’ve ever driven.
