I sure as hell would though! If they made a new 928 and it looked good I would be all over it.

I wish ;(
Or in the bed of a pickup truck..
I hadn’t really thought about the 911 competing with cars such as the Conti and the M6. I knew the 991 is bigger but it still seems like a tiny car to me compared to the true GT cars. At 176.8” long the 911 is still pretty small compared to an M4, let alone an M6. But I can see how despite that the 911 is still…
I could see that with an A8 or large BMW M car. But with small sports cars I personally like to rev the piss out of them whenever I see an opening where it’s safe to do so. I like N/A sound and the highest possible redline over low end torque.
No. Different strokes for different folks.
I dunno. I hit 6000 RPM in my Carrera all the time. And it’s glorious. The noises you get as you wind up the motor are amazing. The boxer comes alive and gets angry.
Yeah but... The N/A 911s were always the best to use on a daily basis. They sound better and are cheaper to own if you keep the car after the warranty is up. Give me a nice N/A Carrera S, GTS, GT3, etc. over any turbo 911 if I’m going to enjoy it for commuting. Give me the Turbo for winning drag races.
Except a 997.2 turbo with a stick would still be cheaper and more fun to drive!
