I’m disturbed that I’m starting to think this way too. I love my 13 and 19 year old BMWs, but I’m getting really tired of all the truly bizarre problems they throw at me. Latest thing: All the wire insulation inside the headlight assemblies is rotting and falling off.  Didn’t see that coming.  If I was retired it

I did that once. I pushed on the clutch pedal and the car went bonkers, tires screeching and it caused other drivers to honk their horns. I don’t like that pedal in automatics.

God, Dota 2's playerbase is getting really toxic.

I’m from belgium. The accident had nothing to do with automatic systems. The guy driving just never drove an automatic before and used his left foot to push the clutch in to go into second gear. But what does the left pedal do in an automatic when pushed all the way in? That’s right, it makes cyclist crash into you!

On that last excuse - call their bluff.  Tell them that’s fine, send a sales person with me with the car to get it inspected.  No sales person would waste the 1-2 hours that’s gonna take so you might get lucky.

2009, Gamer hits theaters and is trashed.

2019, battle royale style games are the most popular free to play genre on the market. Virtual reality is more accessible than ever. Elon Musk is building flame throwers.

“I want a bike” is as vague a question as “I want a car”

I had very few issues with places being willing to take it to a local mechanic of my choice. A few mechanics spilled their thoughts good and bad on the cars they’d worked on from there. I wasn’t shopping at many huge dealerships.

I bought a used car several months ago in November, was looking at used lincolnMKZ or Cadillac ATS, and decided they had gotten kind of pricey with 75k miles on them, some even higher. So went back to my original plan of a Buick Verano. Car Max had several but with higher miles on them, and while looking online, found

My Nokia 920 was one of the best phones I’ve ever had. Damn I miss Windows Phone.

This is a “chinlet” which is rarely seen in the wild without its protective goatee. I caught one on my game camera, eating out of my trash can.

The simple fact is that daughters of past US presidents should stay non-partisan. We elected her to lead the country not meme dankly with her many cool friends

Alaska & Willam’s podcast is so incredible - not only because of their direct first hand knowledge but between the two of them they have a lot of the girls numbers and can just ask questions as they tape the episodes they’re recording. Also, we’ve had guest stars such as Ben,Jinkx, Pandora (that episode, when they

I borrowed this Avalon from the President of the Del Boca Vista Automobile Club, Lenny Friedman. They have an outstanding collection of pristine pseudo-luxury cruising sedans. Lenny bought the car brand new when he retired in 2000. It’s been his daily driver since then and currently has 27,000 miles on it.

Yeah agree, there are no clear n^2 boundaries lying around here.

I think it was less that and more that no one who bought it new would live long enough to see 2019. They didn’t account for people inheriting these indestructible behemoths though

Exactly. Me too. I mean it is a performance car. No, it’s not louder or faster or better handling - but mileage and efficiency are pretty damn important, and interesting, metrics for a car.

I was today years old when I discovered the Pontiac Firefly was a thing.

Same. I was like "raph, they're called miatas".

At first glance, I thought this was going to be one of Torch’s made-up cars. Now I can’t decide if this is better or worse.
