This is why I have zero respect for MotorTrend. Their “car of the year” list history is embarrassingly poor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_Trend_Car_of_the_Year

Probably aluminum,
The NASCAR purists are upset, but it’s a good move. The number of penalties for loose lugs, and cautions/pit stops for loose wheels will virtually disappear. Also will reduce tire damage from lug nuts hitting valve stems and being run over in the pits.
I really like that color, but if history is any measure, it will fail miserably. Pink cars of all hues do not fare well. Of course, it will match your rose gold iPhone and give Mary Kay sales stars a new option besides a Cadillac.
If Barack Obama had proposed this, I suspect there would be less protesting of the design change. After all, the red, white and blue of the American flag are a clear message that this is America’s plane, instead of muted UN blue colors. We aren’t internationalists, we’re Americans. It’s a simple, clean and efficient…

The overwhelming message of the Star Spangled Banner is that less than 40 years after forming a republic of free people and a constitution that was the first to define inalienable rights, we successfully fought off the…
Totally agree with this concept, and the teaching of phonics, instead of word memorization. Introducing the phonics “rules” as the child explores language gives them tools to solve their word spelling as the words get more complex. Sight reading can’t do that.
My follow on to this has always been “Listen to understand, not to reply”. I waste so much time in meetings where people are desperate to contribute a response that they barely understand what is being presented.
165 African Americans out of 713 total police shooting deaths - ~23%. Seems like a fair racial representation. Only 10 were unarmed. 119 had a gun or knife.
And that is why the protest has been an utter and total failure. The choice of forum is unrelated to the issue. The “target” has nothing to do with the issue. And there is little or no messaging to go with the protest act, so that anyone would understand why it is happening. Instead, most Americans see it as…
