Cook some crispy bacon: Turn a bowl upside down and rest it on a plate. Lay the bacon over the top of the bowl and microwave for a minute per slice. The grease will run down the side of the bowl and not the side of your face.

You can make your burritos much easier to roll by cooking your flour tortillas for 30s between two plates (top one inverted). This steams the tortilla and makes it more malleable and with good closing stick, approximating the tortilla pressing they do at Chipotle.

A more gentle method is microwave water in a mug and then hold the opened honey container in that water until the honey is liquid again. I learned this from a beekeeper friend.
