The whole supposed “left wing” motivation was absurd from the start.  As if he murdered 9 people to support Elizabeth Warren’s health care plan.

What’s really funny is that even as a hormonal 16-year-old, I thought it was a bit much. I was way more interested in her Borg story.

Tribble breakfast cereal...

I don’t think there is a single way to “crack that nut” so to speak. It’s a lot of work that needs to be done all around.

Where I live, there used to be a policy of new housing developments always including a number of Section 8/low-income housing units (20-30%). It led to greater integration. I don’t know if it’s the answer, but it seemed to help. These days, new McMansion housing developments are going up everywhere as white flight has

I wish people would grasp how incredibly relevant this all still is today. I live in New Orleans where the public, extremely segregated schools have been more or less replaced with charter schools a decade ago in an attempt to correct performance and help lower income and minority kids. Now kids could to go “whatever

They should just cut it into three 3-minute clips and one 2-minute clip.

Only no-no part was the two of them in full plate armor at the wrong time. It only slightly bugged me. This is a story about an apocalypse*.

I’m really hoping CBS’s next move after Picard is a DS9-centric show. Hopefully the documentary will stir up renewed interest.

Yeah they pretty much cemented that Mac users were insufferable hipsters and PC users were normal and laid back.

Why? Jezebel is scrutinizing his legislative record — the very thing he’s running on. Why shouldn't we hold him responsible?

The grand jury is part of the charging process. People get tripped up by the use of the word “jury,” but it doesn’t involve a trial or conviction. The subject (or subjects) of a grand jury’s inquiry often don’t even know about the grand jury. The worst a grand jury can do is indict a person (i.e. accuse them of a

Came here to say this.

On the third hand(? Sure, we’ll go with that), perhaps he’s both from an alternate Earth and a con man. That’d be cool.

“I’m from an alternate dimension!”

One of my childhood friends just gave birth to her 4th child. The older 3 have been vaccinated, but she expressed concern about vaccinating this 4th child because of “all of the new information about harmful vaccines.” I have advanced degrees in public health and tried to explain to her that A) Vaccines are safe; B)

Dress codes are dumb in most cases. I say most because some work environments actually do require certain clothing items or restrictions on them for safety reasons. If you’re chopping down trees you probably don’t want workers to be wearing flip-flops for example.

Her focus on policy is one of the reasons she’s my top pick right now. I have a really hard time imagining much of this being enacted, but I love that she’s putting them out there, and wish the media would give more attention to this than to the horse race stuff they usually focus on (not you all).

They’re probably just tired of googling “BBC” and getting the wrong results.

This will go just as well as Brexit.
