Is that why it was used for Agent Carter instead?

Last time was amazing! That being the ultimate comics version of the event. I never read the original arc. Nor do i want to based on other people’s reactions to the sole mention of spider-man clones

It’s almost like we shouldn’t be ignoring rape kits. Who knew?

I would love to see more tabletop board game coverage around here.

You’ve got a pretty good rundown of how it works from Kazuhira Miller there, but I just wanted to add: It’s definitely worth checking out. It gets so good at the end of season 1 (basically where The Winter Soldier takes effect), and it was already improving vastly from the mid-season 1 break. Either skip the first,

I genuinely love how they’ve got to surprise me somehow each episode. Just when you thought that Joey was infected, no, it was Lincoln.. wait, it was Daisy? Damn! Stop playing with my mind.

I’m actually so glad they didn’t try to “redeem” or pull an Angel with Ward. They’ve committed to him being genuinely fucking awful without real remorse over it.

Just gonna leave this here.

What angers me than the fact that they did away with recap is the fact that they didn't tell us why, or even announced the change. They just stopped doing recap one day.

Flashbacks are an interesting storytelling device, and if they aren’t used correctly, can seem like a hamfisted way of forcing themes or connections down our throat. My favorite use of them in recent history is Man of Steel, where the movie starts with Clark grown up (you know, after the whole awesome Krypton scene),

And then?

If we followed that rule, we’d have never gotten Patrick Stewart’s Professor X nor Ian McKellen’s Magneto, which were the highlight of even the bad X-men movies. Chris Evan’s Captain America is also spot on - his acting was hardly the problem in the first two Fantastic Four movies.

Getting mad about this movie being bad now feels like yelling at a 13 year old kid because her zelda cosplay dress has the wrong pattern. It’s true, but clearly a lot effort and love went into making it.

The one word Supergirl review:

“Loving” is the key. What I like best about Galaxy Quest is how affectionate it is—not just for the source material, but for its characters. There’s not a mean bone in its body. It is the very definition of a feel-good comedy.

This is part of why I love the Flash - they are NEVER ashamed about the comic book roots or the heritage of the character. Rather it is completely embraced and accepting of the camp and will even poke fun at how silly it can be. You can tell that not only is the crew having fun with it but they expect the audience to

I wanted an Easy Bake oven so freaking bad when I was six. But, you know, boys aren't allowed to like cooking until adulthood when some of them magically become badass chefs like Emril Lagase.

Call up Vin Diesel!

A propper Forgotten Realms Movie is more than overdue. Drizzt and the Drow are one of the biggest contribution D&D made to modern fantasy lore and deserve to hit the big screen. It is mind boggeling that this hasn’t happened yet and we where forced to see the name of D&D besmirged by those god awful movies, with their
