For yourself? Nice.

He should call it something about swallowing shit, right?

No regerts

This is exactly the dilemma I’m having with my 2004 Discovery. $3k to a Land Rover mechanic for the refurbished heads that won’t blow another head gasket (and other work), or just take it to a regular mechanic and get the head gasket replaced and it will last another 60k miles.

See, I wanna like this, but you used “that” phrase.

“If there’s anything to take from this, it’s to organize and light tire fires.”

Show me where the blogger touched you.

Me likey!

Unrelated... When is the Afternoon Shift being released today? Or it’s just not updating on my Morning Shift page again...?

You might be surprised at the number of car models that are considered station wagons in most states, and even nationally. In PA, every single SUV and CUV is a wagon, no matter what frame it’s on. And basically every Subaru (see above).

That’s why the underside of my Disco II is so freaking rust-free. No joke. I live in PA. It’s gathered more rust since it’s been confined to the driveway.

I’ve been living with it for a few months now, allowing the oil to saturate my shoes and pants legs”

Okay, if we’re talking transmissions, that has always been their weak point (insofar as automatics go). I can attest to that on my 1994 Maxima. That being said, I wonder a lot if some of my 90's cars’ issues had a tiny bit to do with young me.

Holy crap! I was sure we would be at 65% CP, because early-aughts German car and all, but to my surprise, NP is winning! [right now]

But as far back into the early 90's as I can remember, Mitsubishi has always had quality problems. Any Nissan was more reliable than an Eclipse.

I think you pronounce it “Renault.” But I could be wrong.

Still got my fingers crossed for Nissan. A rebirth would be fantastic, if they can pull it off.
