Unless it’s had an engine swap...

As I have mentioned before, I have an unhealthy love for Discos, but $31,500?? It would cost a tenth of that to fix the one sitting on my driveway. I only hit NP because I figured I’d be the only one... I’m not too far off right now.

Right? Like let's compare a buggy video game to a 5,000 pound car going 70 mph while the person is sleeping.

Ding ding ding!

True dat

“But that dentist also developing a system that could bend the laws of physics to render a physical object invisible? Come on. Why do you have to push it so far?

Big Man Wins! ^

I think EVs will be ~25% of sales by 2030. Just because I see guesstimates on either side, so I’m falling somewhere near the middle. Now where is the Jalopnik bookie to seal up this bet?

Oh, thanks for clearing it up.

Meh, it’s a different application of ALPR that I’m involved in. I hate saying it on this site, because toll roads are evil and all, but that’s where I’m at: people who don’t want to pay tolls and get pictures of their plates taken (small part of the full systems that I’m a part of). But I’m not going to get trapped in this particular argument, because I can guarantee it’s too subjective. I’ll say, ‘look at company X.’ Then you’ll say, ‘nuh uh,

What is your definition of a living wage?

Preach.

“It’s weird that unions would cause their raison d’être to collapse by making unreasonable demands.”

That’s hilarious, on me. ALPR is an integral part of my job, but I’ve never worked on our foreign projects so I had no idea.

And That's another thing that I love about Hawaii.

Can I ask why you keep saying ‘ANPR’ instead of ‘ALPR’? What’s a “nicense plate?”

ALPR is GPS tagging now? Jesus, did I miss a big gap in the Jalopnik comments section??

And...? I don’t personally use those services (“can I use the store card, please?” to get the discount), but there seem to be millions of people who are fine with that. They don’t link barcodes to credit card #’s, that’s very, super illegal; but those reward programs... game on.
