You’re comparing wildly different subgenres, as if dodge rolls became ubiquitous, versatile, expected and “necessary” like battle passes, crafting mechanics, sliding / jumps / whatever in shooters, class mechanics in PvP, cover in third person shooters, multiplayer in games 10-20 years ago, etc.

I had hard times with Barbs after Torment tier 10 or whatever, in Diablo 3. Used a green set build that had me channel of the spirit of the Barbarian in a rage, and also summon the spirits of the ancestors to fight alongside me. Pretty tight stuff!

RE DI could very well take place not long after Vendetta, which is only about a year after RE6 (and that ends in summer 2013). So Leon shouldn’t - and upon closer inspection, hasn’t - really aged since his *previous* chronological appearances, game included.

Speaking of which, the cordyceps reproduction method doesn’t quite make sense in the series. It “evolved” as a wheat/oat infection to survive higher temperatures, then adapts to human physiology where it spreads through further contact AND making spore “fruiting bodies” & in various forms, then forms networks of vines…

Nope, I got the same impression and asked the same questions as from the games:
