Sadly, you are correct. 

They likely would’ve gone out of business. Their over promising is what got them all the investor funding they got.

It is nearly impossible to get many Americans to care about how Black Americans are treated by the US government. Getting them to care about people (oftentimes non-white, oftentimes poor) outside of the US seems less likely than me being vaporized in a tokamak.

I’ve always been under the impression that air brakes were always trying to apply themselves, the air pressure was preventing it, and using the service brake just created a leak (per se), bleeding off some of that pressure so that you got some friction on the pads. Reason being you want them to always fail stopped not…

One more thing ... sorry to double-post ... The guy on Graham Rahal’s pit crew who was on the left rear was VERY clearly not ready to release. He may have been having some difficulty, but it was not his fault. That car should never have been released. NBC spent NO time looking back at the pit to see where the signal…

Monaco’s such an interesting and scenic locale, and it’s got more history in its pinky finger than just about any other circuit, but the the racing itself simply hasn’t gotten better with the times. Saturday qualifying at Monaco tends to be better than the race on Sundays (like today’s! Excellent strategy, Ferrari!).

While I agree with much of this, many people bicycling on public roads are not doing it recreationally. They’re using the bike as transportation for shopping, commuting, etc.

So my biggest beef with these conversations are drivers who have never once been on a bicycle on a busy road. Like it or not, bicycles are allowed on roads, and most people have NO IDEA what it is like to be cruising along with not much more than your clothes and a helmet to protect you from 3 ton behemoths cruising…
