no shit theyde have assholes jumping out on the track to try and put flyers for prostutites on their halos. they tried like hell to stuff them in my pockets and my exwifes purse when we walked by.

The Vegas proposal was to have it run down the Strip, which anyone who understands anything about the Las Vegas Strip knows is never going to happen.

So they’re looking to replace a bad track for a much worse track. Makes total sense.

Michael Andretti?

In Quebec, where the race is, about 25% of us have got the first shot, essentially no one with a second one.

Just had a super boring conference call this morning. Only part of interest was the update from the member that lives north of the border.

Looks horrible. I can’t wait.

Obligatory...

EV conversions are typically the worst. This is because it usually means ruining an awesome gasoline powered car. In this case however, taking a car like the Pony that was a turd filled rolling penalty box and converting it to electric propulsion is awesome.

What a Ginuwine design. I’m sure a lot of people will love to ride in that Pony.

Way to victim blame. Guess you’re one of ~those~ men.

This is "mansplaining" isn't it?

I consider all these rideshare apps (as well as things like AirB&B) to be nothing more than a convenient way to avoid regulation. So, instead of dealing with a REGULATED means of transportation (i.e., a taxi), instead you will throw caution to the wind and use a sketchy app, where the driver may or may not be the one

I’ve had similar things happen in taxis so it’s not like they’re totally exempt. The regulations make it more likely that the experience is going to be chill but the occasions I’ve had a bad time in a taxi have their own downsides. I’ve reported harassment to a taxi company that did nothing, one that asked me if I had

Wow. Thanks for telling your stories, though I imagine these must be unpleasant memories. Men don’t always (hardly ever?) realize how common these terrible situations are without contributions like yours.

All noted, will swap out the fluids and at least have new pads handy if not just replace whatever is on there beforehand.

BRAKES! Don’t neglect to think about them, as many here have said. I drove the Nordschleiffe in a lifted Dodge Ram 4x4 (humblebrag?), and my only goal for the day was to have fun and stay out of the way. Even still, with barely any real spirited driving, my brakes HATED ME by the time the lap was done. I had a hard

Didn’t notice your reply until I posted mine, exactly my point, agree with you! I took my daily driver (Bullitt) to a track. There I wanna go over 100mph. On public roads I don’t need that. How to distinguish/unlock, I dunno.

I agree that this is a poor take. But, imagine how many more tracks might open up if there was a bigger market for track day cars. Or just, going above 75 in general! This is mostly in jest. But boy, do I wish track days were just slightly more accessible and common.
