Turns out running a racetrack isn’t a very profitable business - they are doing this because they need to IMO. I know a few of the track owners local to me, and they are definitely not in this business to make a lot of money - they do it out of love.

I assume the default is “Chill” - the default setting would IMO be significant. A bit more highlighting of this behaviour when enabled would also be fine with me. At least then the driver is acknowledging that they are enabling a mode that might result in a traffic infraction. Doesn’t feel much different than enabling…

SoCal specific. I get glares in SF when I talk about “the 101".

Been through a number of cars, and there’s only two I miss: my first car (86 Jetta GL with stupid mods), and my 08 135i with M3 bits. The rest were fun while owned, easy to let go of.

Judd’s have a 3000km rebuild interval from the factory. Surprised it isn’t measured in hours like most motorsport gear but that should get you a fair distance. Like, Le Mans 24h ish or so :) 

My 2003 German car requires 10x the window fiddling of my 2017 Ford. Both have auto up-down but if I want to crack a window 1/4", the Ford will take one easy click, and the German will take about 3 or 4 times of f’in around. This story is BS and this comment is utterly ridiculous - the world has already figured this…

Martin’s grid walk is legend - one of the best parts of F1. I hate seeing people snub him. Megan was at least fun until her team “protected” her.
