Some cities are canceling contracts with ICE. I’ve been going to freeholder meetings in Jersey trying to get my city to do that. Trust me, their stance on it does matter. ICE will get taken down after rising pressure from local municipalities.
It’s a way of leading with your values and energizing your base. Its how Republicans keep getting things done that seemed impossible just a few election cycles ago
So... she thinks it should be abolished and would potentially vote to do so if she ever makes it to the federal level. In the meantime, I’m sure she understands that she can’t do that right now. She’s a community organizer who has supported abolishing ICE for some time. Also, it’s a plank of the DSA party platform. …
She should have slapped the shit out of that official, I applaud her restraint.
Why do you read this website? Seriously.
No, this is an incredibly stupid take. You sound like 45* here, with boring calls for “loyalty” in the face of whatever comes out. Your faux outrage is so laughable.
It’s even worse than that.
I assume someone needs to sober up a bit before a conversation occurs.
The local ABC affiliate said this morning that the officer was “in custody” which I hope is true but I can’t really believe is actually true.
That sounds entirely plausible. I’m assuming she was drunk, and they’re giving her time to dry out before questioning her. Somebody went over the protocol for cops committing crimes way back during the Mike Brown murder, and the deference cops get is just amazing.
“...and said that neither the officer nor anyone else who may have witnessed the shooting had been interviewed yet.
So she noticed there was a person there before she noticed that person obviously removed all her stuff and refurnished the apartment?
Mark my words, with Kavanaugh coming into the surpreme court, it is only a matter of time until they rule in favor of regulating social media to give dickheads like this a voice.
Damn, he really has an axe to grind with Cory Lidle.
Not surprising. Clinton conspiracy theories WAS mainstream conservatism in the 1990's. By the end of the decade, most of the conservatives who didn’t want to toe this particular line were retired or noticeably less influential. You couldn’t really be a conservative in good standing with that movement and NOT be all…
There is 0% that Roe doesn’t get overturned, probably within the next year, if Kavanaugh gets confirmed. I can’t believe that anyone believes the majority will do anything else besides follow the edicts from their Heritage Foundation masters to the letter.
“This town is full of law firms, law firms are full of people, law firms have a lot of names, there are a lot of people who work at a lot of law firms,” Lee said, helpfully, before a protestor yelled from the back of the room, in turn interrupting him.
The aide said that guys like me were “in what we call the reality-based community,” which he defined as people who “believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. “That’s not the way the…
You done drunk the damn koolaid ya fucking shit witted twit.
The Daily Caller; for white people who wish they lived in the “Ethnostate,” but are secretly terrified a black person might find out and kick their ass.
