“For Your Eyes Only” was the third Oscar­® nominated song for the Bond series (losing to Christopher Cross, who won every award available in 1981). I’d say amongst fans (check out the attached 2006 Channel 4 documentary - note that it is part 1 of 14) that the song falls squarely in the middle.
