I love how Jane and Rogelio are slowly having these heart-to-hearts on that swing- previously reserved for the Villanueva women only. Really sweet 'one of us' moments.

mte, friend. mte.

don't forget the cartwheels and the stretching luxuriously

Just to add more diversity to the film recommendation mix:
- Deepa Mehta's 'Fire'
- Dee Rees' 'Pariah'
- I Can't Think Straight + The World Unseen (based on the books.. both with Lisa Ray)
- Saving Face
- Yes or No

I can't believe there's no Nadine love for the excellent glare directed at Scott for 'Guy code!'. Possibly in my top five moments of this episode. Nadine's really growing on me- I wish she had more screen time!

Yeah, that got irritating rather quickly. If we're going to have a two minute 'previously', then I don't think it needs to be repeated in the episode (yes, we know it's Rosetro!)

This was my first thought: 'How did Luisa not yank that off?'

Yeah, I've been trying to get my grubby hands on Khoobsurat for a while now.. hopefully soon!

Apropos to this chat re: South Asian television:

LOL.

There's a new Mahabharata! It is TERRIBLE!

James D'Arcy. He is SO creepy on Broadchurch!

This has been my year of living with my parents again (=/) and as wonderful as they are, their taste in television leaves much to be desired.

I didn't read it as jealousy- more as confirmation (for her) of how Michael's jealousy re: Jane/Rafael was influencing his judgement and approach to the case; jeopardising it.

This was such a great episode- emotion, hilarity, over-the-top drama, & some really shocking stuff.

'for all intents and purposes', I think.

She is absolutely delightful on Twitter as well. I want to be her best friend too! We'd wear cute dresses and rap.

I laughed so hard at Rogelio's a hug from me is like a rabbit's foot line, I had to pause for about five minutes. There are some truly brilliant lines on this show. Ivan's desperation to see how Rogelio escapes was hilarious- his begging Petra to put the show back on was really, really well acted.

I'm actually Indian and I hated that show with the fire of a thousand suns. I don't know anyone- of South Asian origin, or actually South Asian- who didn't want to throw things at the telly every time it came on.

If it makes you feel any better/less alone, I wiped a tear or two.
