Chill out Whodatcajun, it’s standard rhetorical procedure

I’m not so sure about Biden. It’s actually uncommon for the early frontrunner to end up with the nomination (happens only about 2/5s of the time), and Biden is actually poised to do very poorly in all the early states except South Carolina, which could do irreparable damage to his campaign.

Buttigieg is surging and

Moderates always win:
Trump beat Clinton
Obama beat McCain
Bush beat Gore
etc. etc.
This is my presentation on why the more moderate candidate always wins.

Are they doing ‘soft bans’ too? A lot of articles, I can’t even load the comment section. It feels like only 1 in 3 articles loads a comment section and so I can only leave a comment on a handful of articles. Anyone else have this problem?

People get past the fire wall all the time. The absence of Lebron in China would be a big fucking deal.
This is a country where, in the 90s, Michael Jordan was named the 2nd most popular person in the history of the world, only after Communist hero, Zhou Enlai.
Maybe China doesn’t change its behavior, but a crackdown on

I want to take issue with two points here:
1) The idea that Lebron can have no influence. Lebron is the face of the NBA and if he (and Steph, say) are going around saying they support human rights, then China has to block the league. This will irritate many, many NBA fans in China who care more about the NBA than they

I disagree:
This will be his ‘republicans buy sneakers too’ line and it will undermine his image as a champion of progressive causes permanently.

In boxing, people prefer a winner by knock-out to a winner by decision.

At this point in the 2008 primary, Clinton was at 48% to Obama’s 22%, so I think that Warren has plenty of time to put distance between herself and that man.
Biden has run many times and usually fizzles out by December at the latest. Nobody actually likes him too much!

It’s a collective action problem. But so is any boycott. The only way to see if they care is to politicize the issue, make it ‘a thing’ and see what happens.

Let them be a gamemaker for Chinese markets then. They can have no business here.

Is it really fair to call China a socialist state?

The Mummy, Rock of Ages, Knight and Day, American Made
Flops! Some of them barely held up by worldwide box office performance.
All quite bad, too!

But he’s good in other things. Including Edge of Tomorrow!

Some streamers aren’t ‘influencers’ in the typical sense. It works more like a chat room where a game you like is happening in the background.
And if you don’t have time to play a lot of games. Catching 15 minutes here and there can be nice.
It can be like a slightly more grown up and more transactional version of going

No fucking shit. Clearly some James O’Keefe shit. You can tell by the hamming it up for the cameras, the fake-ass accent, and the incapacity for subtlety.
What’s particularly irksome is that you know they’ll come back and say “the fact that anyone was duped by it proves how wacky AOC really is.” But you’re the dupes!

I’ve always been a big fan of small phones. When my iphone broke, my dad offered to give me his 7 Plus and I said ‘why not.
The thing felt like a mini ipad and I hated it at first. But now I’m kinda in to it and video looks way better.
tl;dr Big phone is good

If you’re suggesting that Alcibiades desecrated the herms, that’s a slanderous lie!
It’s people like you that sent him packing to Sparta!

Evil cop shit

Perhaps we’ll have to agree to disagree.
It’s not clear to me what temperament means precisely. If you mean that Sanders is ornery and feeds supporters’ id—I am not sure I agree.
If you mean strategy (something I mentioned in my response, not just policy), then it’s not clear that Warren is clearly better than Sanders

I’m not convinced that Warren has a better constructed platform. The article above states that Sanders’s policies are under-appreciated for their detail. One reason that some people take Warren’s platform as better constructed is that she presents herself as the one with the wonk-chops “I’ve got a plan for that,” but
