@Tchotchke: I'm more concerned with the trend of telling us about it. I really don't care what age you were, Matthew Fox.

@AmbivalentAlumna: Hearted. You used your free speech to say something that I found offensive. I used my free speech to criticize. End of story, Jim Carrey. Now go away.

@femme-bot: Thank you! I haven't read a word about the father, which is frustrating. Of course he's not being vilified - the woman always bears the brunt of the "bad parent" label. I don't know what happened in this case, but I would bet that both parents were involved in the decision.

I loathe Chelsea Handler. I don't find her funny or original. There are so many female comics who don't fit the "hot, blond" mold that would have been better choices for a late night show on E. But they weren't having a relationship with the network CEO, so no luck.

@caffeinequeen: Holy shit, I just lost a half hour scrolling through the terrible tattoos.

@SheelaNaGig: That model rubs me the wrong way, and I can't for the life of me figure it out. She just looks so vapid. And vacant. And lacking any sort of spark or intelligence. Why, J Crew, why?

@aureliajones: Not body snarking on the model - commenting on how JCrew skews towards a flat-chested ideal.

@LocalStMary: That's how my hair was - I couldn't imagine going more than 36 hours without washing. (I have really, really fine, straight, pale blond hair).

@Tippi Hedren: Amen, sister! A little reality check (and a visit to the spray tan booth) will give you oodles of confidence.

@sanyucat: I adore The Executioner's Song, but every time I recommend it to someone, they look horrified. I read it while I was living in the Czech Republic, and it was perfect for the gray atmosphere.

@Oana Murray: I'm writing a paper on socially constructed reality, using Conservapedia as an example. It's mind-blowing. These people think they're unbiased and factual. It's just terrifying, and not in a hyperbolic way - I'm actually frightened of these people who use religion as a weapon.

@toadaleh: And only the opinions of "real Americans" count. All the rest of us who wanted reform? Not important.

@CherriSpryte: Just replace the Sandra Bullock cheating story with the Tiger Woods cheating story, and we could time travel to 3 months back!

@twisted_martini: I think the big red lips is a racist nod to the old blackface cartoons.

@Dirk Anger: Don't forget, they are "real" and from "real America" and therefore don't want anything supported by a "fake" elitist.

Tori Spelling's statement on her marriage sounds so...normal.

@RousseMacabre: Yep, I'm basically translucent - but with no wrinkles!

@RousseMacabre: I love people who don't use "ur" for "you are".
