Wrong Wheel Drive (41%)

Only thing daring I have done is run the heat in the middle of the summer to keep a car with a bad radiator from overheating. It worked quite well but oh boy was it a hot drive! Drove like that for a couple days actually until I finally fixed it.

Yeah but if you never arrive because it took so long to get there...

That Z4 clearly had a slow reaction to the oncoming doom ahead. The smoke in the air is visible and the cars slowing down are a sure sign something has gone wrong. And by the time he decided to slow down, it was way too late. Plus i dont quite understand what happened after the first impact.

I imagine this being implemented primarily for fuel saving concerns. Similar to the “Skip-shift” in a Corvette, it would be quite annoying to drive around with. MPG is the last thing I will ever care about.

This is always WAY more important than outright speed. My Miata feels faster than A LOT of things even though its easily down 200hp on those other things. Just dont make me go uphill.

Waiting for them to use a pull off HAAAAAAAAAAH, the damn cruisers will NEVER do that on the Tail. Obivously I do not condone the actions of the Miata though. I would have angrily sat behind the S2k forever in that case, cursing off the motorcycle to myself.

I only use my AC about once or twice a month between June and August but those times that I do happen to use it are very nice to have. This year has been especially hot for some reason, there was a week in July where I used it like 3 days in a row. Mine leaks too so I just refill it before the summer with a $10 can.

I just recall getting passed on both sides by mopeds while the same thing is also happening on the other direction of traffic. And when the mopeds in the middle passed, they needed to lean over slightly to avoid hitting each other. Idk how I did not witness anyone die.

Amalfi Coast was my favorite part of my recent Italy trip about a year ago. So glad we saved the best for last! Spent a few days in Rome and then a few days in Siena/Florence and then drove all the way down to the town of Positano and spent the last few days of the vacation enjoying the beautiful sights, eating great

No way, those scooters had a god damn death wish. Its fun in a very small car as well. The Smart for four I had rented felt HUGE there so it was fun. I had to put a mirror or two in a bush a couple of times. Navigating those “two-way” streets was insane and I totally want to go back.

I mostly just have good stories with my Miata, been daily driving it for 2.5 years and put about 70k miles on it during that time. The vast majority of it with the top down through all sorts of weather. One time though I did get hit by a small pebble in the head, that shit hurt. I guess I am a little too tall in the

Being hot out is generally the only reason I put the top up. Cold? Snow? Rain? No problem, put on some clothing and top goes down. But if its 90 degrees out and I’ve been either driving all day or outside running around in the sun, no way! Then its top up and blast the AC until my fingers cant move because they are so

I’ve done this MANY times in my Miata. On the highway with rain falling hard enough to have my wipers on full speed. And had trouble maintaining 70mph just because of the giant puddles forming and the risk of hydroplaning. Only thing that ends up wet is the top of my head and eventually the inside of the windshield

How do they possibly differentiate what a tablet and a phone really is? I’ve got a Nexus 7 so its not really far off from some of the larger phones. That sounds like a pain to try and figure out for the TSA. It would make more sense to also require smart phones to come out of your bag.

You imported a Miata??

He must have hit the triangle button to initiate a grind while listening to Jerry Was a Race Car Driver by Primus. Shit, I would do exactly the same thing in said situation just because of the nostalgia.

The NDs are so absurdly fast. I have a seen a few of them at local autocross events running crazy fast times in street class. I can’t even imagine how fast these will become once the tuners get more of a handle on them. I sure hope they end up getting classed higher than CS since they are way faster than that!

Ahh yes, the color that would make sense. I was working the course at an event in PA last weekend during pouring rain. There was a yellow ST that looked like a fish swimming in the water.

I love that SJR has a guy like that. I rarely ever get cool photos elsewhere.

I love SJR events. By far my favorite venue even though the pavement kind of sucks. They just make really fun courses there.
