I have not bought any of the Microsoft Consoles. Never liked Xbox Live and having to pay for multiplayer. I know, I missed out on all of Halo and Gears. I coped with it, and I'm managing.

Bit off more than I could chew this winter.

Linking accounts to CONTROLLERS! This is GREAT! I love it! Especially in my house where I share the console with several people, the idea of the controller being "mine, all mine" and it being my personal link to PSN is something I totally dig!

At least they didn't lock away the good guns behind a payment wall totally, such that you can't earn them.

If it boiled down to how I looked down at single-game devotees, yes, I'm in the bubble.

Agree very, very deeply with #'s 1 and 4. K/D's are best for a non-team deathmatch type game like the old Quake. That illustrates just how dominant you play. I've gotten fed up with people who complain about how a match "messes their stats". If you're on the team, play like it.

Did they say anything about the age of the people surveyed? Might have something to do with it.

Methinks MMO's need to learn something from the mobile free to play industry. I'm not joining (and much less subscribing) to an MMO where I have to pay money get the best items. I'm never handing somebody money just to be stronger than another player.

"Let's name X-COM because everybody gave GOTY's to everybody else! We wanna be different!" It helps too that the game is good, but hey.

People on the comments are so quick to dismiss the article based on his current employment and on the typos. But there's also other things to ponder:

It's endearing to call people weaned on consoles as "Greatest Generation." It also makes me feel old.

Flower was kinda boring. This one's different.

I'm wont to disagree because the experience of meeting new people, and discovering it together with fresh eyes is deeply part of the joy of this game. Still, whatever floats your boat. I did my first run with somebody, and we climbed the heck out of that mountain together. Every succeeding play session after, I helped

Hated FFXIII. Not because it was linear.

I play ME3's multi far more than the solo play. It's fun. It helped support the community of ME fans with events. And all the DLC's for it are free. THAT'S a smart move by EA.

My favorite song of the Mass Effect 3 OST is actually "I Was Lost Without You". That's the piece that somehow really sums up the 'tragic love story' that unfolds as the saga ends.

I don't think games necessarily "need" a final boss.

With no context, the picture doesn't really spoil anything.

Hated this part too. And hated how it ended. The Mass Effect Whining Committee should see this and be consoled.

If you don't like it, then that's fine. But do you have another idea we can try? I betcha Hollywood would love to hear it.
