I recall an old Car & Driver article about how old NASCAR cars, including the Days of Thunder Mello Yello car, would blows the doors off other vintage racers at SCCA events. Superior power-to-weight wins every time. I don’t know if the cars were eventually banned from vintage races.

I get my oil changed at the dealership. I neither know nor care what they do with the used oil.

I don’t get even a trickle of a charge from this post.

Perhaps even stupider than the Elon Musk/Grimes posts.

Japan surrendered because Truman made good on his threat to wipe out entire Japanese cities, one-by-one, until the island was nothing more than a wasteland. People tend to forget that, for brief period in the 20th century, America held dominion over the entire planet. Even anti-war activists recommended attacking the

Uber.

I always assumed that Scott Dixon’s life really sucked. So glad he was able to strike a work-life balance.

You must be new here. :)

Lingenfelter has been developing a flat-plane LS for years. This guy just went out and did it.

It affects the price. Calling these cars “barn finds,” hidden from view for 35 years, would certainly stir up more interest than stating you have a couple Superbirds well-known to the collector community. More interest will generate more potential bidders and, hopefully, a higher closing bid.

Democrats and lies?

Wow, who saw that one coming?

Me thinks someone was Kinja’ed.

I would love to drive a Suzuki Cervix, Er Cuervo, Er Cervo.

I suspect the dealer network is scaring people away. It’s a tough pill if you’re accustomed to MB/BMW/Infiniti/Lexus service.

You drastically underestimate the market. I believe there’s 13-14 customers for a manual.

Any word that Kia will add a manual option?

I was going to comment, but I’m too busy hypermiling a Ford Excursion V10.

Morals, morale, whatever it takes.
