I am not a fan of reality programs but when Sydney said that it came as a sort of revelation on how those shows must work. Ahh, introduce alcohol to the assembly. What better way to get a household to start being obnoxious with one another. Was it a true statement on how those shows work?

A fresh take on reality shows: instead of being voted out of the house/island/what-have-you the participant to be removed is literally eliminated.

The show runners made this a cliff-hanger for reasons only they understand. It would make perfect sense to end Stannis right then and there. He is a broken man in so many ways. It would be a relief to all for him to die right then and there. Which is why he may yet reprise his role next year.
