Ernie Hudson (a Black person) was in the first two Ghostbusters movies and literally nobody had a problem with it, so the whole “racists don’t want black people in Ghostbusters” argument doesn’t really hold much water.

You realize that Ernie Hudson was in the first two Ghostbusters movies and no one had the slightest problem, right?
The armorer holds some responsibility, yes. But so does Baldwin. As a member of SAG and Actors Equity, he violated the guidelines of both organizations. Both organizations state the following:
Respectfully, what Baldwin alleges is irrelevant. That forensic report leaves no gray area. There’s no “maybe”, “possibly” or “unlikely” about it. The forensic report determined that the specific gun COULD NOT fire unless the trigger is pulled.
There are most definitely industry-wide standards.
“a gun in actor Alec Baldwin’s hand discharged while it was pointed at Hutchins”
Except if you actually look into a number of those deaths, you’d find that them being trans had little or nothing to do with their deaths.
Seriously. It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving person.
Or...I don’t know.... perhaps it’s just a movie based off of f**king comic books and not some sort of convoluted allegory for modern sociological and racial conflict.
And congratulations to the fucking braindead internet media for falling into the exact same trap every god damned time and running with it, ensuring that the comment gets spread far beyond the significantly limited audience of Fox and Friends to potentially plant seeds in far more people.
