The more I look at these results, the more I realize how utterly insane the used car market is these days. As long as the crackpipe vote isn’t in the single digit percentage, it seems like it should theoretically sell at asking. It doesn’t need all the buyers, just one.

That’s why I specifically said it wasn’t the video games that were a singular cause. Culture is a recipe - meaning there are so many ingredients that when thrown together can be problematic. If you read my original post upthread, I rattled off a bunch of possible contributory things.

While I think that study has merit - I want to re-iterate that I specifically stated that there’s probably not a singular cause. I don’t believe there is any specific singular causation between gaming and committing acts of violence - I do believe that if you observe our culture in totality, it can be a contributing

I’m not going to point to a singular cause for this as if there was one - but I can certainly say that from my general experience, our country (world?) has an abundance of people with weird violence fetishes where they have a “justified” opportunity to kill another person - and this is particularly prevalent among

Unfortunately, we as a country have spent a long long time railing on this idea that freedom means “I get to do what I want as long as what I specifically do does not directly harm others.

The real question that I’m most interested in: Will it haul your motorcycle?

100% this. Not just car culture, but definitely prevalent in car culture: rampant main character syndrome.

TIL: not wanting people to endanger other people for cheap thrills is liberal skinny jean shit.

I’d say the Maverick is akin to a modern Subaru Baja. I’m not knocking it, because I think it has its place, and from all the reviews I’ve read sounds like a great car - but it definitely isn’t close to the segment that the older gen Rangers were.

Ford Ranger. (Not the F150 sized thing that is currently badged as a Ford Ranger)

I think it was a $5K vehicle 4 years ago. It may be a $5K again in another 4-5 years, but with where things are at the moment, I think it’s priced accordingly.

This is basically every modern major corporation because of our unadulterated worship of capitalism.

So instead, he got to learn at a young age that there are barely any serious consequences for his own reckless actions that do harm to others so that he can continue to live his life accordingly.

Hey, where are all the “All Lives Matter!” folks right now?

Would it be considered sedition to spread and perpetuate blatant lies that incite a massive crowd to attack government legislators in an attempt to subvert democracy? Asking for a friend.

What blatant lie were all these people spreading by objecting to election certifications?

They could have had that when they were planning to release the Bronx, but they idiotically killed it like they did with Buell in favor of overpriced, underpowered, heavy cruisers for aging out boomers.

Nah dude, collapsing bridges to own the libs! MAGA BABYYYYY

If you’re at that point - why wouldn’t you just get a Speed Twin? It’s a great bike with plenty of smooth power and classic looks. Also maybe R NineT?
