I just think the crutch of your argument is the same one used against women that have been in the exact same situation, even worse than hers even. Like the trio of girls in Cleveland who were kept in the basement for THIRTEEN YEARS. Or what about Elizabeth Smart? When you’re held captive, of course you want to escape

It auto-locked whenever the guy was in the Room; if she killed him, they’d still be stuck in there. I think she even mentioned that to the kid when the kid suggests hitting him in the head.

...What’s your point? Doesn’t the fact that this is a fictional plotline show that what Kesha’s going through is worse than what a woman had to go through in the sixties, even in a position of power and contractual stipulation? Like that’s...the point that I’m making. What’s the confusion here?

Aww Goddammit that just reminded how raw of a deal Joan got, almost in a similar shitty situation. The fact that a case in 2016 is unequivocally WORSE than what Joan was put through in 1969 is soul-shattering.

Just think of this as an adaptation of the stage musical, which if you haven’t seen you absolutely HAVE to. It is an absolute force of nature in the final number and it’s really something else live.

This shouldn’t be surprising since they didn’t really commit to rebooting it thoroughly in the first place. They had to work around not getting rid of any of Batman’s history nor everything that happened with Hal Jordan and many characters had to pay the price for it.

This is one of the better articles I’ve seen about this and I think it’s extremely poignant to say that women always have to work within the norms of sexuality instead of determining their own path, even in the midst of a supposedly liberating time for sexuality.

It’s interesting you mention that considering that Rob Paulsen, the voice of Raphael in the original TMNT series, is the voice of Donatello in the current TMNT. Perhaps it’s because the Turtles switched over to Nickelodeon so it effectively “restarted” the respective fees?

Lovely. The Kings are now 3.5 games out of the eight seed, behind two actual functional organizations. I’m not optimistic.

You can actually stream from the sites for free during the debates. No cable subscription required. A rare sign of public goodwill on their part.

I give it as the final year for Tim and Manu if the Spurs win the championship, and one more if they don’t. It’d be just like Tim though if in a year where it’s been so dominated by the Kobe Farewell Tour, Tim just straight up says “okay, I’m good” and disappears on an island.

Oh I know; I’m speaking on the part of the O’Malley devout. Hillary would absolutely go for someone like Cory Booker or Deval Patrick if SOMEHOW Julian didn’t work out.

This would only work if during the debate we hear these words:

Now now, it’s grooming for Hillary’s VP spot if Julian Castro were to decline. Nothing says “reaching across the aisle” like having a moderate Democrat as your VP!

I have no earthly idea how they’re going to schedule two teams around USC for the next three years. What a hoot. Unless the Chargers use another stadium to play in to somewhat set up its own base.

That $2 billion in Microsoft money sure seems to say so...

I mean, it can’t be any worse than New Orleans.

I’m surprised that we’re not bringing up the potential angle that Mark Davis would be absolutely bulldozed by a figure like Sheldon Adelson. I mean the guy has half the money in Vegas and he owns the freakin’ newspaper. If Mark gives even a piece to Adelson, he’s effectively saying “you’ll probably buy me out for

The only fucked up comfort that I canbring up is that I think Trump is the type of person that might be too willing to pull the plug on a loved one.

It’s made more frustrating when you see a show come upon a better diverse tale within the Mad Men excuse. Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire actually had a much more fascinating story going on with the conflict between Chalky White and Dr. Narcisse since it was portraying an era of black culture that we’ve never really seen
