I just like milk despite my lactose-intolerance fears because it's the quickest way to get some damn protein in the morning. Although I might just switch to meat-and-coffee diet.

So...#1 seed for Indianapolis. Gotcha.
Well that somewhat speaks to the state of rock as much as the mentality of the Grammys...
I think it's just a Tuesday Morning Quarterback reaction to the crazy ratings that the New Year's Day games got and the 30-40% drop in ratings for the other CFP games. Thing is this was an odd year where even though they were good matchups, they didn't have what one would call traditional marquee teams. Ole Miss Vs.…
The only reason they're not historically bad is because other teams have managed to do a better job at being terrible. Not exactly a reason to put them on a pedestal...
It's a Middle America superhero movie. There's a huge percentage of people in this country that sees Chris Kyle as a real-life Captain America and the movie plays almost EXACTLY like a superhero blockbuster, with villains reduced to names like "the Butcher".
Definitely need to bring up Mass Defect, which is arguably the most insane and hilarious 27 minute video you can find. His videos had the energy and manic speed of a Robin Williams standup special and it sucks that he's gone. Rest in peace, amigo...
More power to her if she can get this film done before the year lets out. August will be the tenth anniversary and I'm dreading the fact that it'll be barely a footnote in the news or the media even though the region is STILL hurting from it to this day, 90% of which is almost due to sheer negligence and lack of…
So from the reaction in the Directing category, I assume we're classifying Mexican as white again? As much as I have to fault the Academy for not recognizing folks outside of their narrow view of the industry, I have to think the possibility of two back-to-back Mexican Best Directors is a quirk but a positive one.
I think this could work if they go all in with the Make Your Own Adventure angle, which is the whole appeal of the franchise.
This is a similar sentiment I have with something like Birth of a Nation. That film is so abhorrent in its portrayal of black men as savage rapists and the KKK as literal paragons of justice...and, yet, it was a revolutionary film, the first true historical epic and a production of scale the likes of which the…
Worked for Passion of the Christ.
And lo and behold, the most disappointing music video of all time.
So...basically the breaded flannel-wearing fella that would eat a 18-oz steak yet has an iPad, enjoys Americanos, prefers gin and goes to art galleries...
So me. Shoot.
You know, I have to imagine people had these same conversations over the word "abolitionist" back in the 1850s. "Hey, I believe that EVERYONE has an equal right to not be enslaved but I wouldn't consider myself an abolitionist since all it does is set a dividing line between white people and the coloreds. What does…
...I'm embarrassed that the first thing that I got out of this article was that Starbucks is coming out with a Chestnut Praline Latte and I couldn't be any more excited. I AM THE ENEMY.
ESPN is owned by Disney and Turner is owned by Time Warner; it'd be a little tricker for Time Warner but I think Mickey Mouse and Co. will be JUST fine.
Bungie has to have the WORST sound mixers on the planet. The campaigns in Halo 2 and 3 were excruciating because the music and sound effects dominated ALL the dialogue between the characters (and they didn't even have the option for subtitles). So color me surprised that the sound mixing apparently sucks in this…
One of the most perplexing things I noticed at Uniqlo, which just opened up a few shops in the LA area and is known for being pretty damn affordable, is that the most expensive pair of pants was, in fact, the sweatpants...
Normcore's weird as hell...
