Yeah, I would be willing to bet good money that a retrofit to a very nice, powerful but standard hydraulic system is going to be a tiny pittance compared to that and will be 98% as effective at stopping the car.

I’m guessing the ATV guy planned on blowing past the cruiser and was not expecting to be cut off. It is clear he did not plan on stopping and I am fine with what happened here.

I am failing to see how the cop did not do *exactly* the right thing here. If moron was going too fast to stop in time to not hit a very plainly visible cop car, he was going too fast to not hit a pedestrian. Not like he came around a blind corner and there was the cop.
