I once had a flight attendant literally steal $20 from me. I gave him a $20 for a drink, he never brought the drink and denied I gave him the money.

This is all a fun mob justice idea. But you know who isn’t on the no-fly list? Murderers. Rapists. Jan. 6 coup participants. Drunk drivers who killed people. Michael Flynn. Bernie Madoff (dead, I know). Deadbeat dads. The list goes on.

It should be this way anyway.

Putting these people on a no-fly list wouldn’t be denying them transportation. They could still drive, take a bus, or take a train to distant destinations.

Another way to deal is to mandate vaccines for flights and eliminate the mask requirement. That way these schmucks never make it on the manifest in the first place.

How exactly is he screwing over anyone? Dude just provided at least a thousand jobs for the last couple years to build this thing and probably 100 permanent ones to run and maintain it. Jealousy is an ugly look. Be better than that.

The new recruits here lately have been confusing stunning engineering with the rich people who own them, and that their job should be to cover the vehicle first. Almost everyone who reads Jalopnik already thinks Bezos is a scumbag, piling on is just annoying. Spanfeller’s plan for G/O seems to be to turn it into a

Being bald/balding is nothing to be ashamed of regardless of gender or status. Don’t be a dick, Andy.

So I guess you are the one that decides none of the blue collar workers / trades people making boats, expensive cars, planes should have jobs anymore because you think no one should be able to afford these things? Nice of you. Would love to hear your economic plan.

I had that salesman leaving me multiple messages a week asking when I could come in to test drive a Supra.

Tell them you’d be happy too. For a fee of 15%.

No test drives without financing or cash-in-hand? Fuck that guy in the neck. I’m not going through the complex process of arranging financing to buy something I don’t know that I actually want. They have insurance to cover damage from joyriders. If I ever hear that from a salesman, it’ll take every ounce of my self

We could fix this with a national law allowing direct sales from manufacturers to consumers. There is no reason other than politics for having the car business regulated any differently than lawn mower sales.

....but people keep letting them do it. Stop paying over MSRP for cars and the dealers won’t mark them up!

Keep driving up that average transaction price. It goes beyond things like the Z06, where you can just brush it off as more money than brains for a relatively small number of buyers.

This totally. And besides, plenty of C8 Stingray customers are making big profits flipping their recent purchase and getting on a new list to buy another one.

Sincerely hope this is backed up by making examples of bad actors and not just hot air.

Admittedly, I don’t understand how the dealer/mfg relationship works, but can’t Chevy punish the offending dealers by slowing/canceling delivery?

Ford is just posturing and will actually do nothing about it.

Regardless of their motivations, it’s nice to see they did the kid a solid.
