“My question, as always, is whether buyers at this price point even notice another $10,000 or $15,000.”

It’s easy to hate on this guy, but seeing him slowly walk away after briefly looking at the wreckage…I can’t help but feel sorry for the poor bastard.
2006 WRX — Rubbery feeling. It felt like jamming a piece of plastic into a piece of plastic. No real sense of gear engagement. It was hard to shift that car quickly. I had gone from an s2k (wrecked it) to the WRX and the difference was educational
I believe a combination of Boron and sand would be effective.
The dealer is the customer.
Get a 911. If you can find one.
They did it so owners don’t have to sully themselves with opening the hood and seeing all those gross mechanical things in there. Seriously.
Interior designed by top DJ. All it needs is a Drakkar Noir perfume atomiser and some rhinestones.
“So there’s really no need for sports cars in an electric world.”
“model minority”? As opposed to a bigot? Sounds like an upgrade. I’m sorry, but 16 years old is old enough. She may not be acting as a bigot now, but she was definitely acting as a bigot back then. Frankly, I don’t think that stain ever washes off. Bigotry is in the DNA and in times of stress will ALWAYS reveal itself.
I’ll say, from the perspective of an Indian, I’ve never been so poorly treated, in any country, as I have in England. Some of it bluntly and shockingly overt, a lot of it subtle and microaggressive.
I’m a rheumatologist and I’ve written thousands of prescriptions over the years of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). This is a fantastic drug used to treat nearly every autoimmune condition - it has a low side effect profile and the interactions with other drugs are minimal. When I first heard of its use in COVID19 I was…
Your dealer sucks. Audi should have (and probably would have) extended you a grace period on the warranty for such a major failure. At least reduce price down to cost or something. Instead you end up selling a car with a significantly diminished resale value - so you are eating the expense one way or another.
Finally found The Car and arranged for shipment which was expected to take a couple of weeks. A few hours after cutting the check, I got a call that the driver was leaving now. The car arrived at my house that night, 2 weeks sooner than I expected. My wife and daughter stayed up with me waiting on the delivery that…
Yeah, I agree with you. I’ve had sports cars that were “daily drivable”. What’s the point? I don’t want to daily drive the thing and all the “daily drivability” concessions just compromise the sportiness of the car. All that isolation and dilution to make it tolerable on a daily drive also make it boring.
Yes!
Whatever he’s dumb
Economy is slowing and people are less inclined for speculative high dollar purchases with questionable long term value. GT cars are always in demand, have exceptional resale value and are an exception.
Many (most?) air-cooled cars are technically project cars. This is pretty standard and like others have said - 911 parts are often plug and play between generations. The depth of knowledge and available resources throughout the country are very, very deep for stuff like this.
People keep saying this and it never happens.
