No one talks about the Vector anymore and it’s weird, because all the 80s kids knew the Vector was the God of Supercars. It was a really big deal. Now it’s a joke and that’s a shame.

NASCAR is so fucking corny. Chicken fried bullshit. Slayer is too good for them.
It’s not a good look, but what if he signs Kaepernick?
In my current manual car I do a true heel-toe, but this is a 993 which has floor hinged pedals. In my previous cars, I did the rolling foot thing.
Interior is too modern. If you are putting in that ancient powerplant, then the interior needs to be accurate. Otherwise, give it some more horsepower.
It’s really the employees more than anything. Salesmen resorting to cheeseball hard sell tactics, for instance. Generally, the staff default to condescension and don’t treat the customer with respect. The service managers are really bottom barrel. They don’t know anything about cars and double down on their ignorance…
YES.
Honestly, IRL, the Supra looks better than the Cayman.
Finally saw this car IRL this weekend. It looks much better in person. A good looking car, but the Celica nameplate might have made more sense. It seemed too small to be called a Supra.
Looks good. This will be my next car.
Can’t tell if you’re joking?
4200 miles per year for a weekend car is about right. That’s 75 miles every weekend. Assuming some of these people live up north where several months of the year are not even drivable...that’s actually pretty good.
I’d argue that we’re losing manuals as much because the cars that are built today don’t really feel like they would be better with a manual. Cars are just too competent.
Automatics work better for most people when stop light racing, which is probably where the action is on these cars, regardless of how capable they are. Seems like every Corvette I’ve seen is basically treated like a muscle car, not some sort of finely tuned instrument.
At this level, does it really matter if the auto/DCT is technically faster? If you are on a track, absolutely. Otherwise, I’ll take the manual every time in a street driven sports car - assuming it’s an option.
Stop conflating manuals with lame ass corvette boomer shit. Manuals aren’t like chrome wheels. Manuals are cool. We should have more of them, not less.
There are “Christian” versions that change the lyrics and the entire meaning of the song.
If it ended up looking like that picture, I’d seriously consider getting one.
Yeah, I know. It’s just funny to think about how $100k used to be a big deal - growing up it was Ferrari money. Completely unobtainable. Now Porsche Cayennes are $100k.
Everything seems to be $100k these days. $100k used to be a big deal.
