I like that idea even better, although sleeping sounds amazing to me. It’s my favorite thing.

This is my dream... get out of work on a Friday, but head to my family in North Carolina, a ten-hour drive from here. Get comfortable, read a book for a while, then go to sleep... wake up for recharge, or refuel, or preferably not at all if things are that awesome one day.

I mean I’d like to eventually wake up.

I want a 124 RF Abarth pretty badly. I mean... if it were a thing. I just wanted to tell someone.

I can’t defend myself... I was a dumb kid. ;)  But I’d driven a lot of 3-series up to that point, stupidly, and it was able to help me sort it out. C-class is sloppy by comparison. Now I’m old as hell, and just sit around soaking my penis and testicles in epsom salts, yelling at the sky and stuff.

I can vouch for their safety. I slid one sideways (2003 C230 Sport 6 spd sedan) off a road down a 6' embankment during a test drive, landing on the passenger side / roof. Juuuuust enough clearance to exit through the sunroof. Passenger and I were fine. Just the right airbags deployed, and hazards activated. Engine was

I mean I know I’d be mid-stroke, and about to finish the deed when my elbow would definitely bump the switch to disable this.

I’ve been rocking the same L.L. Bean bag for almost a decade. Glad they still make them. It is a fantastic toiletry bag.

So you took out a 30-year mortgage on a new truck?

200k miles on the clock of a 16-year-old economy car and you want how much? Eat shit.

(Edit: Not the author - it’s just an expression. No hate here.)

Add airplanes to this as well. They also used to be a work of art.

I can’t get excited about the Outback. I’m glad people do, because they make them all here in my city and they give us jobs and improve life for us... but we have a fleet of them here at work, and I really dislike driving it. It’s a car... nothing remotely redeeming aside from that. The CVT is awful.

Musk has been the biggest disappointment to me as of late. I just thought he was better than this.

I’m in that same demographic, and can’t seem to get jazzed up over any car that costs more than 16k.

I observed something like this in Indy several years ago. Camaro cut off a semi, and he just kept shoving him along... tires on the Camaro were spinning forward, then backward as he tried to wrest himself from the grip of that 18-wheeler. It was pretty fuckin’ righteous.

I worked with a dude who looked just like the video professor and that’s all I could think of when I saw him.

We want to know what aftermarket options are available to replace that hideous front fascia.

You’re telling me exactly what I wanna hear. :)  My wife says “Get something fun!! I have a practical vehicle we can use if we need to haul anything!” LSD it is... my S13 had it, while my S14 didn’t... I had snows on the S14 240sx, but not on the S13. The VLSD really made a difference. I had a hard time before snows

Had a 1992 Canadian model (non-powered seatbelts and daytime running lights) S13 LE with HICAS in the late ‘90s. Still the best car I’ve owned. By far. Replaced with an S14a LE… it was okay. Looked nice. Wasn’t the same though.

Yeah those are SOLIDLY on the short list. I had a 1992 240sx, then a 1997, and they were great... THAT, but with newer tech and a cheaper price sounds great. My only beef is lack of a sunroof, which every single vehicle I’ve had has. I use it every day... but I can probably make do without it.

It should suffice for what I need. My wife will have a small SUV, and currently rocks an Element. I almost always am alone when I drive... sometimes she goes in my car, usually not. The back of the G35 sedan I have RARELY gets used.

Throw some snow tires on a Miata and I should be good... PRHT or RF would be wonderful
