Interested if I can hook it up to a chiller and get ‘er down to sub zero temps.

Yeah become a pilot. That’ll change your mind. I go to breakfast, and park next to a Citation Sovereign or something. Makes ALL cars seem cheap as hell.
Maybe not? I dunno. We definitely built Japanese market turbo Legacys here, however. But we also built some Camrys later on, once Isuzu left (not all, of course).
I’m rock hard for the SWB version. I want it just as basic, though, but with rear seats.
You realize not all Engineers magically get a high salary, right?
I want to live in a world where I think a $40k expenditure on a car is affordable.
lol I don’t even see it, but I wouldn’t be upset anyway. :)
Nope.
Oh fuck me thank god...
I’m seriously upset that I can’t buy that Lada, new, at that price here in the U.S. I’ll sign whatever paper I need to. I know it’s unsafe. I know it’s a piece of shit, but it’d be fun.
I had a 1991 Rodeo S V6 5-speed 2WD. It was pretty awful, but to be fair the only thing that made it so was the GM 120 HP V6. They fixed that in 1993 with the Isuzu engine, and then bumping it up even more things only got better.
“The tech” is ready, and does as it was designed to do. It’s Tesla customers who think “autopilot” is “autonomous driving.” It’s like autopilot in my airplane; I can’t just fuckin’ turn it on and let it do everything. That’s a good way to die.
It’s the only barrier I’ve got to going for a BRZ as my next car, actually. That weird-shaped roof seems to make it not possible for aftermarket stuff either, at least from what I’m seeing... not that I want aftermarket.
Same. It doesn’t screw up the dynamics of the car in appreciable way. It doesn’t add much weight at all, and I’m 6'2" and I could wear a helmet if I wanted. I’ve heard all of the arguments back when I had my S14a 240sx, which thankfully did have a sunroof.
It’s great to lighten the interior and wonderful for letting…
I haven’t been in there since right before it opened. I remember seeing Amigos and Rodeos on the line, stopped mid-production. They also did this cool thing where they made a bunch of dark blue, red, and white Legacys and created a huge U.S. flag out in the lot.
I REALLY want to go back in on a tour.
That’s a good point... the Miata rolled out in 1990 and was quick back then. You’ve sold me on the BRZ / 86 / FR-S I think. I want to ENJOY driving again, and the only practicality I need is a second seat and a trunk.
Also I should add that I’m 6'2" and I have ridden in the back of an S14 240sx, so I know those rear…
Thank you!! All I could find was that it’s some variant of a K24.
Jesus... I could pay my mortgage and get two more homes for that sort of coin around here.
Yeah isn’t the K24 what my wife has in her Element? That raspy son of a bitch? It’s not a bad engine, but it isn’t rev-happy.
Even my 2005 G35x has 280hp and can reliably and easily hit low 6 second 0-60 times. It can apparently top out at 155mph. Now that sort of spec comes in a basic FWD family car, if not quicker. It’s not usable though. Driving a slower car fast is a shitload more fun and won’t kill you... besides, the BRZ is about as…
