re: # 13 - the post-Merchant 10,000 Maniacs is very well worth checking out, featuring Mary Ramsey as the new vocalist, and her partner John Lombardo (I think) but who was an original founding member of Maniacs, they were also the duo John & Mary whose disc `Victory Gardens' from the early 90s is also very good.

But actually, `We Don't Need to Whisper' by Angels and Airwaves is a very decent album - as is the `Love' double-album.
