Crap. I knew my investment in time watching their work would be rewarded. This is very depressing.

It made a spectacular showing here in upstate NY. Crystal skies, very clear view of the Milky Way, and a few meteors to boot. Lovely thing to watch.

Shout out to Between Books in Claymont DE! My man Greg Schauer reopened recently several years after he closed Between Books 1.0. Now I’m sorry I don’t live near the store any more.

I’m that guy - not much of a footie fan, but these were a lot of fun to watch. Loved the reaction shots afterward.

Dude, don’t you know that we’ve moved beyond taping ping-pong balls to our actors for motion capture? It’s all about the dots now.

I’ll play 2 or 3 games a year. I like immersive games, so I’m about to finally play Shadows of Mordor after playing Witcher 3. Then maybe I’ll try the new Fallout; my daughter really liked the last one and it looked fun.

Fine by me as long as Ned Land doesn’t sing any fake sea chanteys. That alone killed the original film for me. Blech.

The face you make when you stab your foot with your sword cane.

I like the fact he was willing to watch a broad selection of many kinds of film. It reflects someone with a curious mind, which is to be expected. That said: The Magic Christian? The Twelve Chairs? Nice! And I wonder what he thought of The Stunt man.

Delta Tau was at Brown on the main quad back in the 70’s; if I recall they had a “reputation” back then too.

Enjoy your break!

Binge on Steven Universe on Hulu. My wife and I just started watching it, we’re 5 eps in, and I’ve heard it gets better. Good stuff.

Just wanted to thank you for the extra BCO.

St Germain is also the lead character - and a vampire - in a great series of historical novels by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. I enjoyed them a lot, and I’m not a huge fen of vampires in general.

Pardon me while I sit back, get out my popcorn, and align my red Swingline properly. Yeeah.

Well worth reading; plus the timing is good for those who use Amazon, as the first 2 omnibus collections are being reprinted and can be ordered now.

This...this is just...wow. These pictures have far exceeded my expectations

Interesting timing. Sky High happened to be on cable last night, so I caught the hero tryouts before watching Weird Al’s UHF. Bruce Campbell and the other supporting actors really make the movie. I’d watch a TV version!

When I had long hair (to just below my shoulder blades) I used a salon that had very few male customers. They never said a word, did a great job maintaining it, and when I had to cut my hair before a job interview (same company I’m still with) they almost made it a mini-wake and gave me my shorn locks tied up in a

Dayum. Guess the NFL really didn’t like the Pats making them look bad. Time to throw more crap on the wall and see what sticks. Through their shills of course. You just can’t escape this garbage.
