Worked like a charm. Thanks Obama (I mean Lifehacker and Melanie).

Thanks for the info; it hasn’t been delivered yet but it’s good to know this up front.

Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha. My eeevil plan is working!

Lived around the corner in the 80’s. This is a huge improvement if they can keep the taggers off.

Now playing

Do Anything You Wanna Do: Eddie and the Hot Rods, 1977. Silly lip sync video though.

The internet has ruined me. I keep subconsciously substituting another letter for the “N.”

“Wild Hunt is likely going to attract a bunch of new people to the series”

Nah. I remember the old days; crap effects and only Harryhausen movies to take away the pain. Watch some later Showa-era Godzilla movies when their budgets got really low, or the drive-in monster movies of the 50’s and 60’s. We were ready for awesome and got crapsome. I love the CGI era because I lived through what

Samuel L. Jackson has joined the film, playing a biochemist “attempting to thwart the other-worldly predator discovered deep within the earth.”

Anyone know why only the top 1/2 of the GIFs display on my computer and all I can see of the rest are the equivalent of hourglasses? This started happening a couple months ago and its frustrating! I need all my GIFs!

Apologies for not “getting” Kinja and so not knowing how to upload images.

This...actually looks very promising. And if it takes advantage of Brandon Routh’s comic side (as in Scott Pilgrim), I’m in.

Julie Brown is an (excuse the pun) unsung comic gem. She had some great songs. “’cause I’m A Blonde,” “I Like ‘Em Big & Stupid,” “The Homecoming queen’s Got a Gun” (admittedly it comes across a little differently these days). I like her stuff a lot. This stupid thing is a dull insult compared to Julie Brown’s songs.

Just call it The Crap. We’ve been down this road (or rode this broom) too many times before.

Thanks for the artist spotlights you throw in here. Lots of fun seeing what fantastic art is floating around. I miss the days when (most) book cover art was less generic and dull.

Always nice to see a pitcher that dialed in.

If these aren’t two Kitchenette column ideas they should be - idiot restaurant owner stories and idiot restaurant reviewer stories. I’d get some popcorn and read every comment.

Thanks for this. I had missed that there was a second season of My Teen Romantic Comedy, so I need to get caught up. You put me on to Barakamon in one of these lists and it was fantastic. I’d also like to second the Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? recommendation.

I hope she gets some backers with money, considering Mr Fecalhead’s resources.
