Always nice to see a pitcher that dialed in.

If these aren’t two Kitchenette column ideas they should be - idiot restaurant owner stories and idiot restaurant reviewer stories. I’d get some popcorn and read every comment.

Thanks for this. I had missed that there was a second season of My Teen Romantic Comedy, so I need to get caught up. You put me on to Barakamon in one of these lists and it was fantastic. I’d also like to second the Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? recommendation.

I hope she gets some backers with money, considering Mr Fecalhead’s resources.

Got a mad on or something? All Bill Simmons, all the time? As someone in the movie 2010 didn’t say, “My God, it’s full of crap!”

Sorry. You seem to think your readers, if they are reasonable and with half a brain, must perforce think as you do. I’m a lot older and perhaps this sort of fulmination bordering on ad hominem attack doesn’t tickle me like it used to. I enjoy Simmons and I wish he wrote more. I like him taking on Emperor Goodell; I

Damn. We needed this kind of imaging to record the ruins in the Middle East that Daesh destroyed.

There are still moments in sports that can make me smile. Pure happiness is always great to see.

I’d love to have her as the model of a playable character. More women in these roles please. I preordered Witcher, but haven’t made it to Dragon Age yet.

Coincidentally enough, Weekend Radio, an hour long program of old comedy and music from a public radio station in OH that many other stations pick up, has been broadcasting the original HHGttG radio shows and this week will have the last episode.

Five Guys? For me they’re overrated and overpriced. I can get more meat on a deliciously seasoned burger at my local diner with a side of steak fries for the same price as a double patty at FG with a side of fries.

Title - gone. Now, please. Get his ass out of MMA. Sad to say he’s from my area. So now we have anti abortion fuckwit Randall Terry (f I recall correctly) and this asshat to brag about as coming from ‘round here in NY. Florida Man has some competition.

Elvis Costello and the Attractions at the University of RI in the late 70’s. It was a general admission show in the arena/gym that I believe had a suspended floor. It was a fantastic show; we in the audience were all standing pretty much the whole time, and rocking hard enough that the speaker stacks were swaying

I watched Attack The Block based on a review in Empire magazine. ATB is equal to Tremors for me as an unexpectedly great B movie. And John Boyega has Charisma +10, what a presence.

“Florida Man,” meet “Fox Employee.”

I got 2 (one big and one small) for my daughter when she was small. She hasn’t kept many of her stuffies but I’m proud to say she still has these on her shelves.

Just a note from a lurker - thanks for posting these every week. I mean, what’s a Sunday without some comics to read?

Godzilla face!

I’ve said it before, and it’s worth saying again now: There is absolutely nothing that WHITE men can do or be — or neglect to do or be — no failing they can have, no emptiness they can embody, that Hollywood will not embrace as heroic.

Just goes to show you don’t need science fiction or fantasy media to turbocharge your sense of wonder. So cool to hear their sincere enthusiasm.
