I liked Lullaby a lot. It was trashy and I finished it in a couple of days.

I actually liked Lullaby and Diary alright. And Rant wasn’t too bad either. I decided to stop there since he was clearly going downhill, but my wife didn’t realize I’d purposely chosen not to continue reading his books and bought me a copy of Snuff as a present. Boy was it ever terrible.

“do to poor design”
obviously marsilies is a graduate of The Midvale School for the Gifted.

For me it’s The Wall - either in its original Pink Floyd album (which I used to fall asleep to every night my freshman year of college) & movie forms, however many Roger Waters tours there’ve been since then, hearing “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2" or “Comfortably Numb” on the radio. I’ve bombarded myself with all

Man, lots of butthurt losers in these posts today.

no problem. It would’ve been a pretty big deal if they had abandoned Seraing. Although apparently some parts are set in a different part of Wallonia.

I’m wasn’t sure, and you appear to be right. Thanks. Weird goof.

Sadly the guitar player suffered tremendous anxiety when they hit it big. I believe the bass player is some sort of elected official... or was.

Are you sure? As far as I know they at least shot this in and around Seraing (Belgium), as they usually do.

A Flock of Seagulls ARE pretty terrifying.

haven’t listened to it yet, but light years is one of the best songs they’ve ever written and hairpin turns is one of the worst.

Just because your main characters are shitheads doesn't mean you identify with them.

This site had a completely over the top reaction to the finale. They basically treated David as a real person and if you watched the show, you were guilty of rape. The finale fit right along with everything the show had done. The reviewer made the issue a far bigger deal than it needed to be

I still feel vicariously embarrassed for this site’s coverage of the season 2 finale. They spent the whole season lecturing us about delusion and misdirection, and the mind controlling villain they spent the whole season trying to capture is suddenly out and free, but obviously everything that happened in the final

How many movies have the “I’m gonna kill someone/kill the sex worker” story? Isn’t there a show on netflix called “end of the fu**ing world” that steals that part? And in Natural Born Killers where Scagnetti strangles Pinky. This book reads very briskly, but I wouldn’t have pegged it as a natural for adaptation.

I don’t care if Colbert needles him a bit. He’s getting a national platform to sell a book and profit off working for a proto-fascist presidency.

If you don’t think Lovecraft’s stories are openly, viciously racist, you should probably... read them

I know they share the last name but maybe in an article about racism you should be specially careful about referring to the correct person even if their hispanic last names are the same. Benicio del Toro is the actor and not mentioned in the article about At the Mountains of Madness. That would be Guillermo.

I still always think Cronenburg first and then go oh yeah that other one.

While that is a pretty good band list, I always get excited when I see “amazing Canadian band” in an interview because I think “This is it! Someone is finally gonna say ‘NoMeansNo!’” , but...alas...seriously, for as many times as I've read that line and variations thereof, I've never seen NoMeansNo, which is idiocy;
