That’s a very Brewster’s Millions thing to do.

Ignoring state taxes and assuming no withdrawal, these are the numbers I got. (No promises on accuracy) The 4.53% rate of return is roughly the breakeven point. A higher rate of return will lead to the lump sum option getting the higher ending balance. A lower rate will favor the annuity option. Adding the effect of

I’m an attorney with an LLM in Taxation, and your statement about taxes doesn’t make sense. Yes, you will pay more in taxes each year, but you will be earning more money. Say you start out with and investment of $100M, and earn 5% a year, all in long term capital gains. That means you’re investments are earning you

I would put the money in low risk, non state taxed funds, Vanguard has one for California. I would pay federal tax on my gains, but it would be minimal as the fund does between 1.5-2% each year. After the market makes its next correction I would spread 80% it between a mix of low/medium risk funds to generate income

not to mention even the 5y UST is at 3% right now, for max security.

One thing to take into account is what could be your growth if you invested the lump sum after taxes.  Assuming you take the lump sum and get 388M, if you invest this money and only received a 2% annual rate of return, you would easily exceed what you would get if you did the 30 year annuity: 702M vs. 688M.  Even

These are the ones VAG are putting in as a result of Dieselgate by the end of 2019 or so (aka, when the Taycan is available).

That looks very road legal.

Ariel Atom!

How about a gently used Formula 3000 car. Currently asking $40k on BaT with just one day left on the auction:

No one is forcing anyone to buy something they can’t afford. And I’m not talking about predatory practices from lenders or shady dealers, that is a whole other story.

If he already had one of those, I’d advise him to sell it to a PNW hipster for 25k and buy THREE good farm trucks lol

Fun Fact: SL stands for SmalL

No, the Mission E will be amazing. I’m getting the itch after having a Cayman S loaner while my Macan Turbo was getting serviced.

This guy is never going to make par.

Yeah, shame on him for writing what we all secretly feel!

I would think (and maybe the owner did too) that this would be best served for long road trips than pandering around town (103 mi should be fine for that).  Why not add a flatbed on top of the battery pack for storing your goodies?

Obviously

I read the title and the first thought was the 04 to 08 TL. And then I saw the lead picture. Glad to see we’re on the same page Tom!
