Great idea! Budget $1000/month in repairs and some emotional depreciation for heartbreak.

Any chance of it getting the Super Cruise system Cadillac has for some reason reserved from the CT6?

Maybe you learned like I did that “fanny” means something else in Australian English.  Man that was an awkward post-pub night.

This is seriously terrible.

I went to a couple of races down on the water, but the view from 555 California was actually better.  We had a couple of pairs of image stabilizing binoculars in a conference room which worked really well.

You can see my office in this gif!

Out of all of these, this is the only one that I would have been interested in if I had the $$.  The story is so amazing.

When I went to buy my 328 earlier this year a friend drove me down there. The dealer has some really cool cars, and in general they are not that upset about people touching them, sitting in them, etc.  They are in the business of selling cars after all.

I heard the admiral’s Ferrari didn’t quite make it into the expected range.  Surprising, because if I had this kind of money that’s the one car on this list that I’d want.  Gorgeous, and an amazing history.

Good suggestions but:

“Kind of like how I’ll always remember the sound of the C-5 TF39s after growing up in the flight path of Dobbins AFB (where the Lockheed plant is).”

Hey if I had $1BN this is exactly what I would do.  Except I wouldn’t let my idiot son drive if I could still move my arms and legs.

In cities like SF and NYC, taxi rationing hasn’t been about anything like “balance” in decades at least. It’s been about protecting entrenched interests from competition.

My buggy-whip-maker great-grandfather agrees with you.

Agreed. Plus you risk your asset being destroyed if you drive it (or even just park it somewhere) and even if you are insured well you will likely not get 100% of sale value.

I saw this on BAT when it posted. Two things:

I drove one when they first came out. I’m a huge BMW fan and have had several M cars.

Below is a “gated shifter”. Not sure about the rest of this stuff.
