People who own these don’t go to Equinox. They have people come to their house and train them there.

BJ and the Bear!

About 8 years ago my local indy BMW mechanic talked me out of an E30 M3 when they cost about 1/2 of what they do now because he said I wouldn’t like the high-revving motor and would prefer an M car with an N/A I6.

How about this?  Looks pretty good...

A friend of mine actually wrote a book about transporters.  They also, you know, kill the original you.

Neat!  This might explain why I have gotten upgraded several times from business to first on oddly timed flights to the west coast out of Heathrow. If you take the early or late flights it’s rare, but the midday flights it’s reasonably common.

Two major things:

Also!  It’s just as reliable as a Maserati GranTurismo.  Which as I can attest from personal experience, is not too damn reliable.

If I already had an F-type (that I was keeping) and $200-300k to spend on another ride, I’d probably get an ICON Bronco.

Holy crap that’s scary! I used to run across that bridge most days (lived at Houston and Norfolk) and even the people biking across are crazy.

C’mon, some of them aren't THAT fat.  The rest, yah.

I think I pushed mine over a mile off the FDR. Funny thing is at the bottom of the offramp were some of NYC’s finest with a can of gas. They wouldn’t give me any of it for any amount of money (well, ok, I had $40) of tell me where a gas station was. Thanks, guys!

Oh man.  I ran out of gas once on the FDR for this exact reason on my bike.  No fun at all.

I don’t think BMW CPOs cars that old.  Maybe I’m wrong?

Interesting. As a car guy with a strong interest in the gentleman’s GT class, I could see myself getting one of these next. They are stunning in person.

First Gear: I’m admittedly not the market for trucks, but the new F series makes me stop and look every time I see one - which is not that often in SF - they are just that nice looking.  The only other truck I really look twice at is the Tundra in that beige sand color.  So if I were in the truck market I’d probably

This was already going on back in the late 90s. A few folks had campers and motor homes parked on East 3rd between 1st and A and lived in them. As long as they moved them for street cleaning I think the cops looked the other way.

I don’t know, seems like this could be adequately explained by laziness and/or stupidity.  The car could be fine.  Not that I’d want to deal with that particular salesperson.

So I can throw up any parts I want? Like a NOS part for a 250 GTO made of unobtainium which I could then sell to wealthy people for lots of $$?

C’mon BMW, Mercedes has learned that stick-on iPads in the middle of the dash ruin the lines of luxury cars (or, at least they have learned this in the E-class and up). Why haven’t you learned this in the 5 series?
