Need the 5-door version. :)
Need the 5-door version. :)
I’m generally with you on this. I’m totally ok with them selling whatever they have to sell (SUVs, whatever) to keep the enthusiast cars coming however. But they lost me when they decided not to sell the 3-pedal Giulia QF in the USA.
I’ve been wondering what 4-door sedan I should get next after my M6. Maybe it should just be a Tesla. I just wish they were less common in SF.
Because it doesn’t have a real manual transmission?
Well now I’m sad. I was traveling and busy for work so I just saw this.
What is that about no Alfa Giulia manuals for the states? Not even in QF form? Well crap, that’s off my list as a next car.
Jim - thanks for your reply but as someone who has dealt with multiple engine swaps in CA I think you are incorrect that passing model year smog is the only requirement. You also have to have original equipment. I’m not saying you can’t make it happen without getting caught, but that’s a different question.
Don’t worry, my job doesn’t exist outside of a few major metropolitan areas so no Oregon for me. Portland is fun to visit however.
Where in Germany? A lot of it is beautiful but I couldn’t handle the winters.
I even live in SF (assuming I decide to come back from Europe)!
I’ve been to Paris several times, usually not for work, but I also usually don’t have much time to shop. This time I did, and the Hermes flagship was a ridiculously crowded shitshow and felt nothing like lux shopping, whereas Berluti was great - they serve Ruinart while you are shopping. I didn’t buy the croc shoes…
No joke I am in Paris right now. Work related however, no private jet.
Allen Edmonds and Gucci are so last season. Berluti or John Lobb only. ;p
I was on first on my local list for the Giulia QF but dropped off when they wanted a cash deposit without any information on release dates. Let’s concentrate on getting the sedan itself released in the US before we get all into getting a wagon here. Is there an actual release date for the sedan yet or is it still…
When does the Alfa Giulia come out? I know it’s not a coupe but it’s darn nice looking and checks all the other boxes.
Maybe not the Jalpa but everything else checks out.
Starred for the Clermont reference. Used to go there so much when I lived on North Ave. And a friend recently got me a cool pencil drawing of the place which is hanging on my wall right now.
These were terrible when new.
