I agree... undecided if this went too far or not...  but as a DIY guy and someone that works for a living sometimes on competitive equipment, I think this was either holding ground or rather a step in the right direction, rather than backwards and losing.

Nationwide? This should be worldwide. If you not allowed to repair it, you don’t truly own it.  Even though I'm not in the U.S., I was hoping this wouldn't get shot down.  

I love having a vehicle old enough that my “right to repair” is only governed by other jobs my wife might have waiting for me.
