Holy cow, that sounds terrible.

Bergsma was really impressive. His laps just kept getting better and better. The announcers noted that Kramer's run would've been an Olympic record; Bergsma was just that good. It was fun to watch.

Ah, yes, that's a good point. You'd need a string quartet for hire, I suppose.

There are a number of different songs (we used a few), although that is the main theme. There aren't any words, but the music is affecting even without words.

I think Butt Crack Bandit would've been a better name. It just sounds funnier to me.

We used Requiem for a Dream music in our wedding. Almost none of the guests knew what it was, but they were pretty much all confused and a bit unnerved. I happen to think it's beautiful.

I thought sports in 3D was great. I enjoyed the Olympics and football, particularly. It wasn't standard to HD levels of impressiveness, but it was pretty impressive. The content simply wasn't there; ESPN's channel mostly just showed X-Games reruns and college basketball.

Collective Soul has no business on that list. They're far from mediocre and don't fit into the grunge category anyway.
